01About these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the website www.digitalskillsindia.in and to admission and training at Digital Skills Institute, Alibag ("the Institute", "we", "us"). By using the Website or enrolling in a course, you agree to these terms.
02Use of the website
- The Website provides general information about our courses, admissions, campus and franchise programme. We try to keep it accurate and up to date, but details may change without notice.
- Course syllabus, tools and modules are updated regularly (our AI-based syllabus is refreshed every 3 months), so the syllabus at the time of your admission may differ slightly from the Website.
- You agree not to misuse the Website, including sending spam, false enquiries or harmful code, or attempting to access it without permission.
- Our chat on the Website answers general course questions. For exact fees, batch dates and personal guidance, our counsellors will contact you.
03Admissions
- Admission is confirmed only after you complete the admission form and pay the applicable fee or first instalment.
- Seats in each batch are limited and allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Please give correct personal details at admission. The Institute may cancel an admission obtained using false information.
- Batch timings are allotted based on availability. The Institute may merge, reschedule or reallocate batches when needed, with notice to students.
04Fees, scholarships and refunds
- Course fees, instalment options and any scholarship are shared in writing at the time of admission.
- Skill-based scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the Institute and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Fees once paid are generally non-refundable and non-transferable, except as agreed in writing by the Institute at the time of admission.
- Certificates are issued only after all fees are paid.
05Attendance and conduct
- Students are expected to attend classes regularly and on time and to complete their practical work and projects.
- Respectful behaviour towards trainers, staff and fellow students is required at all times.
- Institute computers, equipment and internet must be used only for learning. Damage caused by misuse may be charged.
- The Institute may suspend or cancel the admission of a student for serious misconduct, without refund.
06Certificates
- A certificate from Digital Skills Institute (ISO 9001:2015 certified) is issued on successful completion of a course, including the required attendance, projects and assessments.
- Through our Skill India Mission partnership, most students also receive a Skill India Mission certificate, subject to the eligibility rules of that programme.
07Internships and career support
- Diploma courses include an internship with IT companies in India and USA, and an internship experience letter, subject to the student completing the course and meeting attendance and performance requirements.
- Career guidance, interview preparation and job referrals help students prepare for work. The Institute does not guarantee employment, a particular job role or a salary.
08Online classes
- Online batch students need their own device and a stable internet connection.
- Class recordings and materials are for your personal learning only and may not be shared or published.
09Intellectual property
All content on the Website and in our course material, including text, syllabus, designs, logos and photos, belongs to Digital Skills Institute or is used with permission. You may not copy, republish or sell it without our written permission. Software names and logos shown on the Website belong to their respective owners.
10Photos and student work
The Institute may use photos and videos taken at classes and events, student reviews and student project work on the Website and social media to showcase our training. If you do not want your photo or work used, please tell us in writing and we will respect your request.
11Limitation of liability
The Institute is not liable for any indirect loss arising from the use of the Website, or for the content of third-party websites linked from it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable law.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
13Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Alibag, Raigad, Maharashtra.
